France relaxes entry rules for vaccinated travelers from the UK

France will allow entry to travelers from Britain who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 without having to isolate themselves or provide a valid reason for the trip.

The French Prime Minister said, Thursday, that France will allow entry to travelers from Britain who have been vaccinated against the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) without having to isolate themselves or provide a good reason for the trip.

Prime Minister Jan Castex said travel restrictions will be eased from Friday because the highly contagious omicron variant is now largely dominant in both countries.

All arrivals from Britain must submit a negative virus test that has been taken within the past 24 hours.

Unvaccinated travelers from the UK must still provide a valid reason to travel and undergo a 10-day quarantine under police supervision.
