Next month, she will release ‘Tears for Fears’. The turning point, Their first new album in 17 years. Today, the latest song, “Break the Man,” was shared, which you can stream below.

With a light piano and exploding guitar, “Break the Man” is a sparkling ode to women outraged against patriarchy. “I feel like a lot of the problems we have as a country and even around the world to some degree have come from male dominance,” Tears for Fears singer Kurt Smith said of the single. “It is a song about a woman who is strong enough to break a man. For me, that would be an answer to a lot of problems in the world – a better balance between a man and a woman.”

“Break the Man” is the third single from The turning point, arriving February 25 via Concord Records. Pre-orders are available here. Tears for Fears previously shared the title track, as well as the lead single, “No Small Thing.”

In addition to releasing the first full lineup of new songs in nearly two decades, pop music legends will be hitting the road this year with Garbage. Tour tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
