With a light piano and exploding guitar, “Break the Man” is a sparkling ode to women outraged against patriarchy. “I feel like a lot of the problems we have as a country and even around the world to some degree have come from male dominance,” Tears for Fears singer Kurt Smith said of the single. “It is a song about a woman who is strong enough to break a man. For me, that would be an answer to a lot of problems in the world – a better balance between a man and a woman.”
“Break the Man” is the third single from The turning point, arriving February 25 via Concord Records. Pre-orders are available here. Tears for Fears previously shared the title track, as well as the lead single, “No Small Thing.”
