Conspiracy theorist and pillow expert Mike Lindell has made one of his wildest claims to date.
“We already have all the pieces of the puzzle,” Lindell said on Real America’s Voice this week. “We have enough evidence to put everyone in prison for life, 300 and some million people.”
The population of the United States is estimated at 330 million.
It’s not clear how much “and some” is in Lindell’s claim, but even at 300 million, that’s just about everyone in the nation over the age of five.
Lendl made his name out of selling pillows and was for a time one of the most popular faces on Fox News, appearing in both of his ads and as a guest until he fell out with the right-wing network.
He has been a major supporter of former President Donald Trump and has defended many of his false allegations of election fraud, routinely promising that a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court in his favor would nullify the results of the 2020 presidential election.
All the evidence he promised did not materialize or was quickly debunked, and Lendl backed out of a $5 million offer to anyone who could refute his claims when several analysts came forward to collect it.
Lyndell is being sued for $1.3 billion by Dominion Voting Systems in a defamation case over allegations of election fraud, which include false accusations against the company.
Given this history, observers question his plot to imprison nearly every American:
