How does the NBA All-Star voting process work?

Fan voting represents 50 percent of the total votes to determine the start of the NBA All-Star Game. Existing players and members of the media split the remaining 50 percent. Each ballot paper consists of two goalkeepers and three front yard players from each conference. Reserve coaches are chosen by the NBA’s coaches, and league commissioner Adam Silver selects injury substitutions if necessary.

The All-Star Leaders will then draft their teams from the pool of eligible players (Rookies in Round 1 and Reserves in Round Two). The captains will be chosen based on the players who receive the most fan votes in each conference. They are not required to draft based on affiliation or position in the conference.

How to Vote for the 2022 NBA All-Star Beginners?

Fans can vote for their favorite players through the NBA app and the NBA.com voting page. They can also vote on Twitter by tweeting, retweeting, or replying with the hashtag of the player’s first and last name (#FirstNameLastName) or Twitter account, along with the hashtag #NBAAllStar.
