Outside of Brighton, in the South Downs, Luna Wilds is a new wild, off-the-grid spa and retreat built with reclaimed materials by local yoga teacher Laura Brown and partner Mike Lord. In addition to the usual daily events with spa treatments and time in the wood-fired sauna and outdoor bathtubs, there are a range of weekend options. In the Wild Creativity Break, guests learn pottery, practice yoga and meditation. The food is vegan and plentiful, and there’s evening bonfires, spa time and guided walks of the South Downs. Launched several times a year at Sarah’s Georgian home in Wiltshire, Resilience Retreats was recently launched by ventilator practitioner Natalie Kenny and yoga teacher, sound therapist and breathing therapist Sarah Martin. By combining breathing, yoga, nature walks, sound baths, and kirtan (collective chants), the focus is on relieving stress, reconnecting, and learning resilience building techniques. The retreats operate year-round, with the option to stay off-site.

The weather will determine the tracks, but guests will walk an average of six miles a day. All equipment is provided, as well as delicious food from local providers.
